We have no hesitancy in unequivocally recommending Mike Ellison. Over the past decade, we came to rely and trust Mike as our prime contractor for maintenance of our older one-bedroom UWS Coop apartment. Mike and his team, during that period, replaced and upgraded our windows, remodeled our kitchen and installed new countertops and appliances, designed and executed a renovation of our bathroom and remodeled our outside deck so that privacy and access was enabled. In all these efforts, he was timely, efficient and worked well within the constraints imposed by the needs of a small self-managed Coop with strong-willed occupants which, understandably, required tact and attention to details such as disposition of construction materials, timing of the work, etc. His explanations of options for our choices of materials was especially knowledgeable and useful. We cannot stress enough how much we came to respect and trust him – we consider him a trusted friend and gave him a set of keys when our primary residence shifted to another state. Indeed, when we finally sold the apartment this year (2018), we feel that its superb physical condition, largely due to Mike, played a major role in the successful result.
