Trained as a journeyman carpenter in the early 90’s, I brought this knowledge and appreciation of the home improvement industry to NYC in 1996 where Michael Ellison General Contracting, Inc. was formed. Using both time-tested techniques and the newest and latest home improvement advancements, my team and I are able to provide you with the highest level of results.

My services include small apartment remodeling jobs such as painting a single room to full-scale apartment renovations with all of the work preformed by employees of our remodeling company.

The subcontractors we work with (e.g., plumber, electrician, heating and air conditioning) have a long and solid relationship with us. This relationship ensures that their work meets our highest standards so your project will run smoothly and meet your every expectation.

Lastly, but every bit as important, I understand that while remodeling is what we do for a living, the project can be stressful as your home is being dismantled and changed. A very important part of my job as the proprietor is to keep you apprised of the progress made as well as what to expect throughout the duration of the remodel.
